A friend of mine made these cute decorations last year
using real crackers, chocolate and marshmallows. I wanted
to try recreating them in Photo Impact...I hope you enjoy
making them as much as I did.

If you would like to use my graham cracker texture
download it here.
Graham Cracker

Open a new workspace--500X500,white background.

We will start with the graham cracker base Using the
path tool,2D,square---draw  a square 150Wx150H
Using the Transform Tool/Perspective--push the back
two black squares in slightly to get the shape on the left.
Using transform tool/resize --pull the top square down
to make the cracker about half the height, or 75H
Fill with the graham cracker fill. Duplicate the square.
Have the new square selected and on top.
Using the pick tool push the top square back a slight bit.
Right click and convert it to an object. Using the Burn
tool ,Size 20, Soft Edge 20 --lightly run it acrost the
front selection line to give it a brown, baked look.
Click on both crackers and merge assingle object.
Pull it to the bottom of your work space.

The chocolate square is made almost the same way.
Make a square 150X150 with Path Tool, shape Square.
Select 3D mode for this one. Border 20-- Depth 10.
From the Easy Pallette /Material Gallery, I use
Plastic 20(P20) for a melted chocolate look.
Choose Transform, perspective and bring it in a slight bit
at the back like you did the cracker. Now use Transform /Resize and make the chocolate just a bit smaller than
the cracker.Pull it on top of the cracker and make sure you see the front and a little of the sides of the cracker showing. You can line the back up even.
MAKING THE MARSHMALLOW--Using the path
tool,make a rounded rectangle 100X100.
3D, Color white, Border 65--Depth 24
We will use the path edit tool now to shape the sides of the marshamallow.Choose path edit tool. Click the toggle button make sure you are in non-free edit mode.Right
click and add a point on each side of the middle.(I
have put an X were you add the point.) Slightly push
each of these side points in. Click the toggle button again and then click on your pick tool.
Using Path too,shape ellipse,color white, border 65--
depth 24 pull an ellipse shape about 100X 25.Pull it
down on top of the rounded rectangle square. You
might have to use your Transform/Resize tool to get
the side edges to line up.
With the bottem, rounded rectangle selected, right click and convert to image then use your Retouch tool/Smudge,size 20
to smooth your rectangle.Line up the two marshmallow
parts ,elect the rounded rectangle and the ellipse and merge as single object. You have your base
marshmallow. At this point I saved a copy of  it to my Easy Pallette library, because I knew I would use it alot
of times.
With your two marshmallow parts combined as a single object, select it and duplicate.Place your bottem
marshmallow on the chocolate. Using the Transfore/resize tool--make the duplicate marshmallow
just a little smaller and place it on the bottom one.
Duplicate the second one and resize it for the head.
You might want to use your right click, align, center
vertically to line them all up.

Now he needs a face.....select the paintbrush,
color black, size 2. Click on the paint as an object mode.
Draw some lines for the eyes and a whimsical
grin. Click out of paint as an object mode.Select all
objects and merge as a single object.
To make the Nose---choose the path tool, circle,
color   Hex#C34400    Border 5--depth 24
Draw a small circle and place in the middle of the face, above the mouth.
To make his scarf.Choose Path Tool
Shape Wave 2
Click the Transform/Distort Tool and
pull the right side ends together slightly.
Place the scarf between the head and the
second marshmallow. You might have to adjust
with the distort tool to fit the neck.
Select the scarf, Wave 2, shape. Go to your
Easy Pallette and fill the scarf with a pattern.
I chose a cute snowflake pattern I had in there. A plaid would work well. Be creative here!
With the scarf selected, right click and duplicate.Right click arrange and send that duplicated part to the back.
Select Transform Tool/Rotate. I rotated my scarf
counterclockwise 20 degrees.
To make the Earmuffs---Choose Path Tool/Ellipse.
3D--border 7 --depth 24
Color Hex#0000C4
Draw a small ellipse shape. Pull it down to the
side of the head.
Duplicate and arrange on the
other side.
To connect the earmuffs---Select line tool,
size 2, Border 2-- depth 30
Choose Freehand   Color 0000C4
Draw a line from one muff to the other.
Right click and send it to the back.

See below for the buttons.

To make the buttons I selected Path Tool--Circle
3D--color Black-- Border 19  depth 24
I made each button seperate. Place two buttons
on the middle marshmallow and one slightly
larger one on the bottom marshmallow.

To make the twig arms---Select the line tool
Freehand shape
3D,   Border 2      Depth 30
I used Color 722818
I drew the long part out from the body first,
then drew the little twig sticking out. I
left them on top because I thought they looked
like they were poking out of the body.

Now you can select all objects and merge
as single object.

The little SMore snowman is now ready to
add to your Christmas scenes or resize to
hang on your virtual trees.

At this point I had some fun making some
different size and shape guys.
